These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Tickin website and HR platform (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you agree on its behalf.
The Service
Tickin provides time tracking, attendance, leave, payroll, and team-management features delivered via the web, Slack, and an optional desktop app. We may update, improve, or change the Service over time.
Accounts and responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for maintaining the security of your account and credentials, and for all activity under your workspace. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service: no unlawful, infringing, or harmful use; no attempts to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access; and no use that violates the privacy or rights of others. You are responsible for complying with the employment and data-protection laws applicable to your use of HR features.
Subscriptions, billing, and trials
Paid plans are billed per employee per month (Starter $2, Growth $3), or annually with a discount, plus any add-ons, through our billing provider. A 14-day free trial is available on Starter and Growth with no credit card required to start. You can cancel any time and keep access through the end of your billing period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
Customer data
You retain ownership of the data you and your team submit to the Service ("Customer Data"). You grant us a limited license to host and process Customer Data solely to provide the Service. We act as a processor of Customer Data on your behalf; see our Privacy Policy.
Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, and content (excluding Customer Data), is owned by Tickin and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant you no rights in our trademarks or branding.
Termination
You may stop using and close your workspace at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or for non-payment, with notice where practicable. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; data handling follows our Privacy Policy.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose. Tickin assists with HR operations and is not a substitute for legal, tax, or accounting advice.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tickin will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by applicable law. Nothing here limits any mandatory consumer or statutory rights you may have.
